Welcome to Born 2 Win Farm Boer Goats!!
In 2006, Donna Jean Winborn (now Heinrich) and her son Colby Winborn, took a group of FFA members to a show goat sale at KCF Boer Goats to purchase breeding goats for show. They never dreamed that they would bring home their first percentage doe and full blood doe that very day.
Both Donna and Colby have a background that includes horse shows, rodeos, show cattle, and broiler chickens. The goats were just another venture in their long agricultural career. Donna is an Agriscience teacher/FFA Advisor and her son Colby is an FFA Alumni member and a student in the College of Nursing at Southeastern Louisiana University.
In 2007 kidding season arrived, we needed a herd prefix and Born 2 Win Farm was established!
Today, B2WF is a growing venture whose mission is to breed and raise quality and healthy boer goats. The goats and the farm are additionally used as a learning and motivational tool for Donna's Ag students. We are members of the ABGA, IBGA, and the LMGA. Additionally, Donna has served on the board of directors for the Louisiana Meat Goat Association since November, 2007.
In 2008, Donna and Scott Heinrich were married - forming a merger between Born 2 Win Farm and SSS Game Ranch Services.
